Winter Storm Skylar is bringing severe weather across New England as the third nor’easter since March 2.

Snowfall rates of 1 to 3 inches per hour and whiteout conditions are expected across the region throughout Tuesday, 3/13. High winds, featuring occasional gusts over 60 mph, and the possibility of coastal flooding will likely lead to power outages throughout the area.

Although USPS is not currently reporting any post office closures, logistics partners are anticipating delays of 24 Р72 hours for any shipments traveling to or through the affected areas. In addition, LTL carriers are shutting down completely, which may lead to additional backlogs when travel becomes safe again.
