Tropical Storm Cindy made landfall near the Louisiana-Texas border early this morning. Life-threatening flash flooding is possible along the Gulf Coast due to heavy rain through Friday. Rip currents, high surf, isolated tornadoes and some coastal flooding are also possible in the area. Moisture and energy from Tropical Storm Cindy will spread north and east Thursday into Friday.

The United States Postal Service reports a Post Office closure at the Heidelberg Post Office, 39439 in Mississippi due to flooding.

In addition, delays of 12-36 hours for shipments destined to and traveling through the affected areas are occurring beginning 6/21.
